Norm was a great partner and resource for me for what was a daunting and tricky undertaking in finding a comfortably priced home in the midst of market changes from interest rate shifts and dwindling inventory. We were able to get a very good price on a really great home. Norm had sussed out what my needs were fairly quickly and accurately and was able to re-focus me when my attention would stray to the "shiny objects" that seemed attractive but were not truly meeting what my original goals were when I set out on the search for my home. Norm embodies everything I look for in an agent. Over the last six years, he helped me buy my first home and, more recently, my newest home in San Francisco. The key to his mastery is his genuine care for his clients. If you're looking for something transactional, this isn't it. I'm a designer, which makes me the pickiest of the picky. Norm got to know me as a person and gained a deep understanding of the nuances behind my needs and wants. His recommendations have been a thoughtful reflection of that. If you have the chance to work with Norm (and his pup, Okami), do it.

Norm is the best.  My husband and I recently bought a house and we were surprise that it happened faster than we expected.  With the crazy housing market,  Norm gave us honest feedback with what was within our budget.  We end up closing a deal in 3 weeks!

He was patient with taking us to our open houses and taking us through the process of buying a good house that met our needs.  Norm took his time to talk to us late night because of my hectic work schedule.  He was knowledgeable with looking at houses to educate us about a good vs bad house. Without any doubts, Norm will always be my go to agent.

Norm helped me buy my first condo in 2016. I got married last year and when it was time to sell my condo, I naturally reached back out to Norm. We were debating whether to wait til later in the year to put our condo on the market. Norm encouraged us to get it ready earlier due to potential increase in mortgage rates, and he was right. 

From the first call, Norm and his colleague Ashley had done their homework, putting together comps of recent sales in our building, and coming up with a fair and realistic target sales price range. Once we moved out all our things, Norm and Ashley took care of everything, from getting our unit painted to make it look fresh, staging, recommendations on listing price to get the most traffic, working with our HOA to get all the disclosures together, and getting our place ready for the open houses. We followed Norm’s advice to do the standard two weekends of open houses at times when light was the best to showcase the property. Norm and Ashley were physically there at all the open houses and kept us updated on the number of visitors and disclosure packets they sent out. We loved the staging and we feel it made a real difference to showcase our place at its best. 

We were lucky enough to get 4 offers, two of them all cash, at the higher end of our price range, and closed in 10 days. Norm and Ashley made everything go as seamlessly as possible! They were responsive throughout, guided us through our many questions, and were just easy and fun to work with. We first met Norm in early 2021 and immediately felt a connection.  After our very first viewing with him, he chatted with us for a good 45 minutes.  As first-time home buyers, we had a bunch of questions and he patiently answered them all.  He was definitely someone we saw ourselves working with.  Our plans changed mid-year and we ended up waiting until late 2021 to purchase our home.

I first contacted Norm Fung in late December, 2020 to find a condo or single family house. I was apprehensive and cautious due to Covid 19. He immediately eased my fears.
